LG dishwasher code bE: too many suds

What it means

The dishwasher has too much foam. LG’s fix starts with stopping hand dish soap and using less detergent.

What to try

Unplug the dishwasher before any step beyond a quick look, and turn the water off before touching hoses.

1. Stop using hand dish soap. Use a small amount of dishwasher detergent instead.
2. To clear the suds, LG suggests setting rinse aid to L0, adding no detergent, placing about 200 ml (7 oz) of milk in a cup on the upper rack, and running Standard with Extra Dry and Rinse.
3. Set the rinse aid back to your usual level afterwards.
