What it means
A sensor in the base has found water. The drain pump runs and the dishwasher stays on while it drains.
What to try
Unplug the dishwasher before any step beyond a quick look, and turn the water off before touching hoses.
- Turn the water supply off under the sink.
- Mop up any water you can see and check whether it came from suds (dish soap used by mistake).
- Waterwall models: check nothing is blocking the reflector track at the back of the tub.

- Samsung gives no further home fix for this code. If it isn’t a suds overflow, request service.
Resetting a Samsung dishwasher
Samsung’s reset for most faults: switch the dishwasher off at the breaker for about 30 seconds, then restart the cycle. If the code returns, request service.
