Samsung dishwasher code OC: too much water (overfill)
Fixable with care
Also shown as 0C oE
What it means
The dishwasher has more water inside than it expects.
What to try
Unplug the dishwasher before any step beyond a quick look, and turn the water off before touching hoses.
- Cancel the cycle and check the floor for water.
- Make sure you used dishwasher detergent, not hand dish soap, which foams and can overflow.
- Clean the filters and run a drain or short cycle.
Call a technician if
- It keeps overfilling, or water enters while the dishwasher is off. Turn off the water valve and call for service.
Resetting a Samsung dishwasher
Samsung’s reset for most faults: switch the dishwasher off at the breaker for about 30 seconds, then restart the cycle. If the code returns, request service.
