What it means

The motor circuit drew more current than it should.

What to try

Unplug the washer before any step beyond a quick look, and turn the water off before touching hoses.

1. Unplug the washer for 10 seconds and try again.
2. If it happens again, turn off the water tap and leave the washer unplugged.

LG’s usual reset: unplug the washer for 10 to 60 seconds (LG gives different times for different codes), plug it back in and restart. If the code persists, contact LG for service.
