LG washer code PE: water level sensor fault

What it means

The sensor that measures how much water is in the tub isn’t reading correctly.

What to try

Unplug the washer before any step beyond a quick look, and turn the water off before touching hoses.

1. Unplug the washer (10 seconds for front-load, 5 minutes for top-load), plug it back in and restart.
2. Top-load: if the washer is in a very humid room, LG suggests moving it.

LG’s usual reset: unplug the washer for 10 to 60 seconds (LG gives different times for different codes), plug it back in and restart. If the code persists, contact LG for service.
