LG washer code FF: frozen water lines

What it means

The washer thinks water in the tub, drain hose or inlet hoses has frozen.

What to try

Unplug the washer before any step beyond a quick look, and turn the water off before touching hoses.

1. Thaw the tub, drain hose and inlet hoses with warm water. LG gives about 122 to 140°F for the tub and below 122°F for the hoses.
2. Run Rinse and Spin to test.

Resetting an LG washer

LG’s usual reset: unplug the washer for 10 to 60 seconds (LG gives different times for different codes), plug it back in and restart. If the code persists, contact LG for service.
