Samsung washer code 9C1: power supply problem
Fixable with care
Also shown as 9C2 9E1 9E2 2E UC PF 19C1 19C2
What it means
The washer saw the voltage go outside its normal range. PF means power was lost: unplugged, an outage, or a tripped breaker.
What to try
Unplug the washer before any step beyond a quick look, and turn the water off before touching hoses.
- Plug the washer straight into a wall outlet. Don’t use an extension cord or power strip.
- Use a circuit that only serves the washer, if your home allows it.
- Check whether the breaker has tripped and reset it if so.
Call a technician if
- The code keeps returning on a dedicated circuit.
- The breaker keeps tripping. That needs an electrician or a technician.
Resetting a Samsung washer
Samsung’s basic reset for most faults: turn the washer off for 2 to 3 minutes, turn it back on and restart the cycle. If the same code comes back, request service.
