Samsung washer code OE: too much water (overflow)
Fixable with care
Also shown as 0E OC 0C 1 OC 1 0C
What it means
The washer has detected more water inside than it should have.
On models without a display, Samsung signals this with: Tap Cold, Cool, Medium or Mid light blinking.
What to try
Unplug the washer before any step beyond a quick look, and turn the water off before touching hoses.
- Stop the cycle and check the floor for water.
- Make sure the drain hose is placed correctly and not blocked, since a drain problem can leave water sitting in the tub.
- Turn the washer off for 2 to 3 minutes, then start a drain or rinse and spin cycle.
Call a technician if
- The tub keeps overfilling, or water fills even when the washer is off.
Resetting a Samsung washer
Samsung’s basic reset for most faults: turn the washer off for 2 to 3 minutes, turn it back on and restart the cycle. If the same code comes back, request service.
