What it means
The laundry has bunched to one side, so the drum can’t spin safely. Ur is not a fault: the washer is adding water to rebalance, which makes the cycle longer.
On models without a display, Samsung signals this with: Hot and Warm lights blinking.
What to try
Unplug the washer before any step beyond a quick look, and turn the water off before touching hoses.
- Open the door and spread the laundry evenly around the drum.
- Close the door and press Start.
Call a technician if
- It happens on most loads, even well-spread ones.
Resetting a Samsung washer
Samsung’s basic reset for most faults: turn the washer off for 2 to 3 minutes, turn it back on and restart the cycle. If the same code comes back, request service.
