Samsung washer code SUd: too many suds

What it means

Too much foam has built up, so the washer pauses to let it settle. The cycle carries on by itself.

What to try

Unplug the washer before any step beyond a quick look, and turn the water off before touching hoses.

1. Let the washer finish. It resumes on its own once the suds die down.
2. Next time, use less detergent and make sure it’s HE (high-efficiency) detergent.

Samsung says no service is needed for this code.

Resetting a Samsung washer

Samsung’s basic reset for most faults: turn the washer off for 2 to 3 minutes, turn it back on and restart the cycle. If the same code comes back, request service.
