What it means

The washer’s water heater isn’t working as expected.

On models without a display, Samsung signals this with: Hot and Medium (or Hot and Mid) lights blinking.

What to try

Unplug the washer before any step beyond a quick look, and turn the water off before touching hoses.

  1. Turn the washer off for 2 to 3 minutes, turn it on and restart the cycle.

Call a technician if

  • The code returns after the reset. Heater faults need a technician.
